Tina Guhr was born on a naval base in Guam, a territory of the United States, and moved to Garden
City, Kansas as an infant. Tina was raised in Garden City, and later moved to Ford, Kansas, eventually
settling in Dodge City. She and her family proudly call Dodge City home. Tina is married to Ben Guhr,
and together they have built a loving family that includes their three daughters-Cassandra, Alesha,
and Krissy-and four cherished grandchildren. Family is at the center of Tina’s life, and her greatest
joy comes from spending time with her children and grandchildren, creating memories across
generations.
Professionally, Tina dedicated many years to serving her community. She worked with juvenile
offenders in a role that demanded both compassion and resilience, followed by many years of
service with the Ford County Sheriff’s Office. In 2013, she transitioned away from public service and
embraced the role of homemaker, which allowed her to focus more fully on her family. She
especially enjoys attending her grandchildren’s events-cheering on her only granddaughter, Emily,
in cheerleading competitions; supporting Benny, the oldest grandson, in baseball and basketball;
and watching Braxton race his go-karts. Their newest addition, Ryder, was just welcomed into the
family and is already deeply loved.
Tina was introduced to the Depot Theatre just three years ago and immediately felt a connection.
From her very first visit, she was captivated by the welcoming atmosphere, the talent on stage, and
the sense of belonging the theatre fosters. Since then, she has enjoyed performing in productions
as well as supporting behind the scenes. Being part of the Depot Theatre family has brought great
fulfillment, and Tina is honored to now serve on the Board of Directors. She looks forward to giving
back to the theatre that has given her so much and is excited to help guide its continued grow
