A Mostly Minnesota Christmas

December 2, 2016

A Mostly Minnesota Christmas is about Bill and Abby as they prepare for Christmas in Minnesota when long-estranged relatives start showing up, leading to some irreconcilable differences and dysfunction. The play was written by Brian Mitchell and is directed by Doug Austen, at the Depot Theater. It’s a comedy with themes of reconciliation and redemption. This production was the first time that the new light board and sound board were used. The entire evening was immersive including a pre-show cocktail called “Minnesota Uf-Day”, a special exhibit of handmade quilts in the gallery, a special commemorative Christmas ornament for sale, and a traditional Christmas dinner with all the trimmings and layered pumpkin dessert.

(Cast: Lisa Dameron, Jeremy Ragland, Alicia Ocker-Thompson, Miguel Coca,Ron Albrecht, Darleen Clifton Smith, Sklyer Clark, Keysha Howard, Tegan Wenzl, Abigail Dameron and Keith Tallent.)
